Annual Seminar
Annual Seminar 2024
Title: Statistical model building, variable selection, and competing risks
This event is planned in the framework of our interest group of statistics in transplantation medicine, where we aim to build a community, study best practices and methods in biostatistics and transplantation medicine, and bring together everyone's expertise to help each other learn.
The seminar or workshop is planned as a yearly scientific event where we hope to foster exchange with both interesting methodological inputs as well as transplantation-related trends and needs.
Topic: The talks will focus on statistical methods used in the investigation of transplantation medicine (or medicine), with special emphasis on model building and competing risks.
Venue: Hybrid; in person at Swisstransplant, Effingerstrasse 1, 3011 Bern or online participation (only morning).
Date: Thursday, 6. June 2024
Register: Sign-up form not available anymore (In-person participation limit of 25 persons; first come first serve)
